Postponement of HKSSPC 2021
In light of the latest development of the COVID-19 epidemic and further suspension of face-to-face classes and school activities, all events of the Hong Kong Student Science Project Competition (HKSSPC) 2021 will be postponed. For details, please refer to the webpage of HKSSPC 2021.

At the same time, we would like to introduce two new project types for the Junior and Senior Division in consideration of the uncertainties of the epidemic development in the coming few months.
(i) Invention Design Proposal (Type A1 Project): An innovative and original invention idea designed by students with scientific knowledge and imagination. Students should demonstrate to the judges what implementation methods could be used to verify the idea.
(ii) Investigation Design Proposal (Type B1 Project): An research on scientific phenomena or the application of scientific theories. The project proposal should be submitted in the form of proposal with design of experiments and expected outcome.

For teams that couldn’t conduct experiments and produce the model of invention under the epidemic situation and respective school arrangement, they could consider submitting their projects in Design Proposal Project Type above.
