The nomination period for the Hong Kong Student Science Project Competition (HKSSPC) 2026 has begun. We are offering a series of training seminars and workshops for all participants to enhance their understanding of scientific experimentation. These workshops aim to improve students’ skills in experimental design, research skills, data analysis, design thinking, social innovation, and presentation skills. These skills are crucial for participating in the science competition as they help students conduct research, solve problems, innovate, and effectively communicate their findings. This year, the Annual Theme of the competition is “Extreme Weather” and are pleased to have invited Professor LEUNG Wing-mo, Past Assistant Directors of the Hong Kong Observatory (HKO), an expert in this field to share his knowledge and experience with us. Students and teachers please do not miss this opportunity.
