HKSSPC 2025 Announcement of Results
HKSSPC 2025 Final Judging cum Awards Presentation Ceremony successfully concluded last Sunday, with lots of teachers, students and public participating in this annual event in person or through live streaming. The Guest of Honour, Dr Choi Yuk-lin, JP, Secretary for Education, delivered a speech at the ceremony and presented awards to the winning teams. The 20 finalists were highly appreciated and recognised by the judges. All awards were announced at the Awards Presentation Ceremony.
For the Junior Division, the team from King’s College won with “OLD-der-Less!” in the Invention subcategory, while the team form Heep Yunn School took home the prize in the Investigation category with their work, “Utilising Rice Bran Extracts to Synthesise Fire-retardant Materials”.
For the Senior Division, the team from Carmel Pak U Secondary School was the Champion in the Invention subcategory with their work, “Rouxii KFC Express”, while the Investigation champions came from Kowloon True Light School through their study on, “De novo approach: peptides inhibiting pancreatic and lung cancer’s viability”.
