The Hong Kong Student Science Project Competition (HKSSPC) 2020 was kick-started with a briefing session on October 23 at the Hong Kong Science Museum. The organizers invited Professor Chan Ho Yin from the school of Life Science of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, who was the head judge of 2019 competition, and experienced Teacher Guide Mr. Cheng Tak-chi from Po Leung Kuk Wu Chung College to the briefing. Prof. Chan shared the fun, method and social responsibility of scientific research, and encouraged participants to dare to try and make good use of science creativity to contribute to the society. And Mr. Cheng shared his journey of competition and tips in joining the competition. The organizers also invited price awardees last year to share their competition experience with all participants. It is believed that participants gained a deeper understanding of the arrangement of the 2020’s competition and have received valuable advice to better prepare for the competition.
The deadline for Project Nomination to HKSSPC 2020 is 13 November 2019 (Wed). Please be reminded to enroll on or before the deadline if you are interested to join us this year. We look forward to your participation in 2020.
